How Do I Know if I Need Addiction Treatment?

How do we start the enrollment process for someone looking for addiction treatment help?
The process of enrolling someone in addiction treatment is relatively easy. All you need to do is contact our admissions specialist either online or by phone. When you contact us, one of our admissions specialists will work with you to determine the right level of treatment for your situation. Our intake and admissions team can be available to answer any questions you might have about treatment options and how you can pay for treatment.
Do You Accept Insurance?
LA Outpatient accepts most private health insurance plans and will work with patients and their families who are not covered by health insurance who choose to self-fund their treatment.
Medi-Cal, Medicaid and Medicare do not cover services at LA Outpatient. For more information regarding coverage and costs,

Do I Need a Referral from My Doctor?
You do not need a referral from your doctor in order to attend treatment at LA Outpatient.
What Do I Do If My Loved One Won’t Get theHelp They Need?
In order to attend treatment at LA Outpatient, the individual must be ready to accept help and voluntarily commit to treatment. However, if your loved one is unwilling to get help, we can connect you with a licensed interventionist or addiction specialist who will be able to guide you in the process of getting your loved one the help they need.
How Long is Outpatient Treatment?
The average stay for outpatient treatment will vary depending upon what treatment program you are enrolled in. Our Partial Hospitalization Program typically lasts 4 – 8 weeks. Intensive Outpatient Programs range from 4 weeks to 12 weeks and our Outpatient programs range from 4 weeks to 12 weeks. All of the treatment plans at LA Outpatient are customized for your unique circumstance.
What Type of Treatment Do You Offer?
At LA Outpatient, we offer a variety of treatment programs including addiction treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, outpatient treatment, and aftercare treatment.
Outpatient treatment programs are options for individuals who need more flexibility in their lives. Individuals who have career or family obligations often do not have the time to attend inpatient treatment. The outpatient programs at LA Outpatient offer various practices in healing the mental, psychological, and emotional dependence that comes with a drug or alcohol addiction. Outpatient treatment programs allow individuals to have control over their schedule while still working to maintain their goal of long term recovery.
Should My Family Be Involved in Treatment?
We believe that a healthy support system is vital to maintaining one’s recovery. We do encourage family and friends to get involved in treatment. We also offer family therapy. However, your privacy is always protected under federal HIPPA laws. Only those people who you have given written consent will be able to participate and/or know you are in treatment.
Is Smoking Allowed?
Yes. Smoking is permitted only in designated areas.
